I get asked the question all the time, what do you eat?

Here is a typical day;

Ideal Day

Breakfast:

1 cup freshly ground (hand grinder) organic fair trade coffee, Turkish style, made in an Ibrik.  Filtered through hemp (no paper).

2 whole organic eggs, scrambled in or fried in coconut oil or raw butter

1 or 2 slices organic turkey bacon

1 cup watermelon, pineapple, blueberries…your choice

Midmorning:

5 ounces vegetable juice, fresh, take with you in a thermos.  Or I will carry fruit with me.

Lunch

8 ounces grass fed, organic chicken

2 cup sweet potato

3 slices fresh tomato

2 cups kale or collards

1 cup sweet onion and cucumber salad

Mid-afternoon

½ cup blueberries

Dinner

2 mashed potatoes

10 ounces grass fed beef

1 cup beef stock

3 cups kale

2 stalks celery with 1 Tablespoon tahini and raisins

There ya have it…  what about 2000 calories a day looks like..  notice it is all REAL FOOD, not processed, not out of boxes…  If cost is a major factor, buy your fats, meats and eggs organic.  Then go to your farmers market and buy produce, it is usually WAY cheaper than the grocery stores.  Then get or make some grow boxes and plant tomatoes, sweet potatoes and lettuce to start…then keep going..  In about 6 months you can be providing yourself with a lot of the veggies you eat each day.
